(Because of You), IndrA, the Lord of DEvAs, got back his kingdom;
the advancing demons (asuras) were transformed from living to dead;
the DEvAs were rejoicing on being graciously protected;
Sankara who danced with KALi was in ecstasy;
VinAyagA and PArvathi were delighted;
the entire galaxies, all the sages and people in all eight directions,
along with IndrA and BrahmA enjoying Your darshan (vision); and
Vishnu, accompanied by Lakshmi, was happy and pleased.
(Just like You appeared before them), You must come to me mounted on Your mighty dancing peacock!
You have lotus-like eyes!

The seas rose with high tides while the Mount Krouncha was rent asunder
when You threw Your sharp and glittering spear!
